Why? It is possible for us to look at a range of players for one position before we sign one of them.

According to people on here Jackson had signed a pre contract agreement so it was signed and sealed, so why follow another player for the same position.

Fair enough, hadn't heard that rumour. I'd think it's pretty unlikely we have signed him already to be honest.

That doesn't really mean much then, rumours fly about all over the place between fans. There's probably a good chance we're taking a look at him but with the uncertainty with situations with our own players at the moment, I'd be surprised if we offered a contract to a player who isn't even playing for us.
