Unfortunately as some of you may be aware I live in Leeds so I cannot get to many games, IS Dan Harding worthy or not to be called up?

:nono:

*sorry for the ignorance*

They find it beneficial at times (if they dont get a game) just to be around players of a high level!

Surely this is good and will benefit the lad.

i think that this can only be a good thing for the club and dan
i don't care what anyone thinks i feel that he is good prospect with great potential...On Tuesday he started really well and looked confident and comfortable on the ball, he then made a mistake us fickle nasty impatient BHA fans got on his back and he went to pieces. DO YOU think its worth giving the lad a pat on the back and encourage him to cut out the mistakes rather then slate and slag him off

I suspect that Dan will look a lot better in the England team. He will, after all, be playing with other defenders of similar quality and vision. It is always hard for any good player to shine in a team that is struggling at the bottom of a table, especially one that is still relatively inexperienced.

Reading reports of from his first appearance it would appear Taylor hadn't seen him play. He was full of praise for his performance against Ukraine so it's hardly likely he'd drop him from the next squad.

It is an odd selection on current form, but fair play to Taylor for giving players from outside the big clubs a crack.

I know it is a bit cynical, but I hope Taylor does not abuse his position of Under 21 coach, by tapping players like Harding up and getting them to sign for Hull when their contracts are up.

I can't see Harding ever wanting to leave the Albion. He has such a good bond with the club's supporters, most of whom show a high regard for his skills, potential and vision.

Top post Zebedee.

The team are going through a crisis of confidence, and that is affecting everyone, especially the younger players. A lucky break or two, and perhaps even a win, should get get them all back into gear and positivaly leaping up the table*. I think that we should be up and running by the time the Wolves and QPR matches come around.

* Well to 21st anyway.

And well done Dan - keep it up. :clap:

Wilderabeast, I have never believed that someone will improve at anything if they are constantly slagged off, better to find out what they are good at, nurture that talent then encourage them to improve on weaknesses. So, I do believe that it is worth encouraging young Dan, he may become one of the best players ever to have graced the stripes and go on to wonderful things playing in the full England team, who knows?

It's brilliant news for the lad - just find it a wee bit hard to disbelieve the evidence of me own eyes of Dan Harding's form at club level. Sorry :(
