virgo is not a right back, he was not good enough really for div two at right back- peoples views of him are tinted as he scored

its got nothing to do with that goal in the play off's he came in last january and it made a change to have somebody at right back who could defend and not just let people run at him or past him like watto has done consistantly

f***ing HELL. I can't believe people would seriously pick Watson over Virgo. He's slow, weak in the tackle and so shit in the air it's almost laughable. Virgo is strong, quick, CAN tackle and can provide aerial support at the back and at attacking set pieces.

agreed, Virog is far stronger than Watson, however Virgo isnt playing in his best position, if we had another right back i think he would be challenging Butters for his place in the heart of the defence.

Virgo can do a job at right back. Who remembers the assist last season where he did that skillfull little flick-over before whipping in a pin-point cross? Any right back in the world would have been proud of that.
