curious poll pattern

I've noticed in the recent Maghoo polls that the outs always outstrip the ins to begin with, before being overtaken later to provide a vote of confidence. Can anyone explain this ? Is it that the outs are simply more impetuous and vote quickly to vent their fury after a bad result ?

I don't know, perhaps we could have a poll to find out.

I am sure it is something to do with most polls happening straight after matches and people that didn't go would perhaps tend to vote to get McGhee out, then when people return they vote to keep him in.

Most people that go to Withers seem to be behind McGhee, apart from the minority.

Sounds about right. There is a knee jerk reaction to defeat and somebody sets up a poll. As the more realistic NSC readers turn up back from the game there is a move towards him staying. I honestly do believe that the vast majority of Brighton fans want McGhee to stay even if we go down.
