I don't care that he would be leaving us for only the England job but IMO there is no better English manager around. Simply amazing. His tactics are spot on, transfers are all bargains and we are very much on our way to Europe.

Me sooooo happy after last night

Any manager that can get Jeffers scoring goals must be good.

I would like to see what he cak do with bigger players or at a big team? See if he can cope in European football, I'm sure he would!!

I remember watching him from the Northstand!!

Good cross by HERMAN last night for Jeffers' first goal.

I prefered his second tbh. It was a very good finish for someone 'low on confidence' :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Wil be a snip at £2.6 million trust me ;) :drink:

Curbs has done very well in getting Rommedahl and Jeffers for the amount they cost. Looked like the game could have been a lot different if Villa had taken their chances early on though. Still some work to be done at the back before a proper push for Europe can be made i think

They only had three clear chances where they chould have scored FFS. One hit the bar and the others came form shite defending. Not a hatful.

If he can recapture his form prior to his move to Arsenal then Jeffers could be the bargain of the season. Danny Murphy was also an excellent signing.

Considering that they got hammered on the first day of the season, to come back and win their next two games is pretty impressive.

Curbishley is an excellent club manager, in particular his signings this summer stand out (getting Murphy to replace Jensen was a masterstroke). But then again a certain G.Taylor was also a very highly regarded club manager. Nevertheless I would take Curbs over Sven right now, no doubt about it
