Cup takes toll on Seagulls


Steve Coppell has two new injury worries for the match at Hartlepool after the Carling Cup defeat at Middlesborough on Wednesday night.
The Seagulls lost 1-0 after extra-time and both Simon Rodger and Charlie Oatway are now doubts for the trip to Victoria Park.

Rodger suffered a knee injury and fellow midfielder Oatway is struggling with a back problem.

On-loan striker Darius Henderson is expected to return to the side after being cup-tied for the trip to The Riverside Stadium but right-back Paul Watson (foot) and defender Dean Blackwell (knee) remain sidelined with long-term injuries.
