What with the squad being announced tomorrow for the tour that will show how good this England side is, I wondered if any of the more travel minded people on here, who like cricket are planning to go.

Have had a look into it and am well tempted to do the Boxing Day Test in Durban and the New Years one in Cape Town. There is something appealing about drinking Castle Lager on the beach in Durban on Christmas Day.

I am tempted also. My uncle lives just outside Joberg so i have a base to travel from and a place to stay.

How much are flights do you think ?

I looked at going out Christmas Eve and back on about the 10th January and it came back at about £850, but somebody I know might have some more options.

The only thing that I have not sussed out is internals from either Cape Town or Joberg to Durban.

Can't believe I'm going to SA before the tests - that really was bad planning.
I normally get flights for around 400-500 pounds, usually on BA, SAA or virgin. You can get cheaper ones but with ridiculous stop overs.
Chrimbo flights may be a different scene altogether as I can imagine the demand for flights already is huge.
