Makes perfect sense if you are travelling north to south and the incident is on the south to north carriageway ?

Not sure if you are familiar with how the A23 works but it has a road going southbound parallel to the road going North.

Well two things. I wasn't aware that you were travelling in the opposite direction, and most importantly, it was said tongue in cheek. Oh and yes l am familiar with it, l live nearby.

It wasn't when I was heading Southbound. But this might be the case now.

Handcross Hill. Always been cursed. A Charabanc crashed there (1920s I think) killing lots of folks. When I was a rep I used to use it a lot...seems a bit of an accident magnet.

I think the inquest established he only had a couple of light beers but the mechanicals, especially the gearbox, got the blame.
