Cortisone injection

I have it done once before but i don't think they hit the right spot, hence why i have to go in for another one. Has anyone else had one? if so does it really hurt when they get it in the right place?

I was offered one to sort out a running injury. Read up about them...didnt like the sound of it....the potential for the cortisone to crystalize in the blood and causing extreme pain...ouch.

I pressed me doctor a bit more and eventually found a lady who specializes in 'bio-mechanics.' A single consultation with her and a few months of exercises sorted the problem.

Had a couple for tennis elbow (which is a bit odd as I don't like tennis and have never played it) and...........it worked!

No pain,no crystals in the blood,no alternative therapies,just a jab,and then........no more pain.

Had 3 a few years back, in the wrist, knee, and ankle, back when a nasty virus caused me temporary arthritus.

I thought they were great, and I felt like superman after having each one.
