Contingency If Smart Cards dont turn up/dont work for SSC?

Can you please let us know what the contingency plans are for smart cards that dont turn up or dont work for the SSC on Saturday. Probably a bit early to panic seeing as how its only Wednesday but would like a gurantee that if we bring along proof of purchase of ticket (confirmatory email) accompanied by maybe a Fan Card then we'll be allowed entry. In fact even if smart cards do turn up, should we bring along proof of purchase anyways in case the card manages to wipe itself by being stuck in a pocket next to a mobile or somesuch?

If your SmartCard has not arrived, bring along a proof of purchase and/or your Fan Number and the ticket office will produce a duplicate paper ticket.
