Very self-indulgent but who cares.

Beat Crowborough Athletic U18s in the League Semi-Finals tonight 3-1 on penalties after a 3-3 draw.

Next stop the final against the children of Mile Oak Youth this Sunday at Peacehaven.

As a former U18's manager at Crowborough, Hailsham and Ringmer....well done, good to see that age group is still recognised and appreciated.

Congratulations! Probably the best team we (Steyning U18) have played all year, does this mean we are the only team to beat you this season

Congrats BH. Appears your season may become one to remember.

Just curious as to why we haven't seen any of these youngsters in the first team this season? Have any of them played for Darren in the reserves?

Think a couple have as I understand it Worthing Utd are not having a reserves next season ?

My eldest needs to find a county reserves set up as he is good enough to move on so any offers in the Shoreham / Worthing area ?

Fairplay, thought you deserved it on the balance of play, although i'm 100% sure that last goal was offside. Was your son the small number 5?

Congrats once again BH. Was at the club yesterday to see the First team beat Rye 4-1 which leaves them a two goal win against Littlehampton away from the title. This would mean that ALL 3 teams could win their league (1sts/Res/U18's) which is quite an achievement at any level.

NB. Regarding the reserves next season I've not heard anybody confirm that there will be no reserves next season??? Everyone I asked at the club seemed a little confused as to why I even asked. Perhaps Darren isn't doing it next year? In which case there will be a vacancy

Seriously, well done though.
