Come on the mighty Shots! My original 2nd team from the dark days of my childhood when I (gulp) lived in Surrey. Provided a great alternative to following my mother round the shops of Guildford on a Saturday afternoon. Saw some amazing games.
Aldershot 1 - Brighton 4 (My First away game)
Aldershot 4 - Brentford 1
Aldershot 4 - Northampton 4
Aldershot 3 - Sunderland 2 (What a game! 3/4 of the ground must have been Mackems. Nobody gave Aldershot a chance.)
Aldershot 0 - Sheffield Wednesday 8 (Thought it would be a Cup shock. A shock it certainly was!)

Actually, much as i want them to go up, I do think that they're not quite ready for the League yet.

as 10cc say, not in hove
i remember once in a cafe in the west end circa 96/7 standing behind a miserable sod of a barnet fan who was moaning to the server that we should be kicked out of the league, tin pot club, disgrace to football blah blah blah.

ever since that day i have always kept a keen eye on their results and was chuffed when they were relegated

what goes around comes around...come on the shrews!

Barnet are a tin pot club with even less fans than Orient. Hereford are still blaming us for their relegation, so screw them as well.

I want Aldershot to go up as I have fond memories of away trips there - that 4-1 result in our 87/88 promotion season was very enjoyable.

I don't want Shrewsbury ... went to visit my daughter Tanya who lives in Shrewsbury last September and spoke to a Gay Meadowite season ticket holder running the bar where we stayed .... his abiding memory was stamping on Lee Steele at our last game there after we had won the 3rd Div championship in 2001 .... I told him I wished I had done the same ... but there again, what a bastard!
They can stay in the Conference!

What are Barnet’s plans for next season if they win? ???

Their ground isn't up to football league standards
:glare:

The League changed the rules so Underhill is now suitable for league football

They must have changed it so their capacity has to be at least double their average attendance then. :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

It always used to be a min of 6000.
