Comupter Virus Help Needed

Hi All,

I appear to have a virus on my computer called MPC Cleaner. Has anyone had any experience with this and know how to get ride of it? It doesn't appear on my Programmes when I try to uninstall it there and when I try to delete the files through going onto Programme Files x86 it tells me that I need administrator privileges, which I should have as I am the only user on the computer.

Please help!

Also, it has messed my internet up with lots of adverts and all.

Otherwise, like Patcham said, your best option is either getting a professional to look at it or spunging on a good antivirus/system cleanup tool

I will have a look. It is annoying as it seems to have got through mcafee
