sorry for being a idiot but when i must haved pressed a button somewhere so now web pages i visit like nsc are twice the size instead of fitting the screen i have to scroll down to visit the other half, i could read me screen 20 ft away, so how do i change it back, tried everything in my limited pc know how

Goto your view tab at the top of the page and select text size. Then choose medium.

That should work.

playing with the screen resolution most likly: left click on the desktop, click on Properties and change the Screen area, most likly to 1024x768, but if that still seems big try a slightly larger scale. if you using older windows (NT, ME, 98 etc) make sure you test first as setting too high is a bugger to fix if it blanks your screen. Win2k & XP automatically do a test.

thanks all, probably was playing with the wrong buttons, annoyed me too much so restored me computer to a restore point a couple of days ago, back to normality
