Companies Recruiting

Anyone know of any financial/Insurance companies recruiting or that recruit often in the Brighton area , I got made redundant from Lloyds TSB this year moved outside of Brighton (job) and want to work back in Brighton again. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Don't know what part of finance you're in, but I work in Financial IT in the City (London, that is), and there are currently many, many jobs out there - in fact I'm currently looking for a new role and interviewing at the mo. All the banks that cut back last year are hiring again like mad. I have about 70 job specs in my in-tray.

When I was out of work last year and keeping an eye on local jobs, I didn't see a single one. Nada. Niente. Hope you have better luck.

I know that both 1stcentral.co.uk and Zenith Insurance based in Haywards Heath are heavily recruiting for insurance positions at present, so you can try those.

'Oval Innovations' (whoever they are??) seem to be dominatng gumtree jobs, at present..

Stay well clear of Oval Innovations, just Google 'oval innovations scam' to see that, as for finance/insurance companies Domestic and General seem to be hiring quite a few people so may be worth checking out. They are based in the town centre so easy to get to.
