New captain, renewed belief.
The Argus is urging every Albion fan to get right behind Bruno and his team-mates.
Because this could finally be the season the Premier League dream is realised.
Chris Hughton’s side went so close last time, robbed by a red card for Dale Stephens and pipped on goal difference by Middlesbrough.
Then undone by a catalogue of injuries against Sheffield Wednesday in the play-offs after finishing 15 points above them.
The Championship is always tough, a 46-game grind.
It will be even tougher this time with big spenders Newcastle, Aston Villa and Norwich down from the Premier League.
But, as Liam Rosenior says inside today’s Argus: “Nobody looks at your transfer value when you are on a pitch.”
- Comment: Believe - this could be a big season
- Anthony's chance to knock Nigel on opening day of the season
- Murray is ready to hit the ground running
- Championship Preview: Top six for Albion
- No breakthrough in Albion midfielder Stephens contract talks
That, with the undoubted quality of Bruno, Lewis Dunk, Stephens, Beram Kayal, Anthony Knockaert, Glenn Murray and the rest can get Albion over the line.
Beginning today at Derby, a team touted by many for promotion, who they left trailing by 11 points in May.
It’s time to believe.
