Bollocks David. Is Hendo refusing to sit on our bench tonight then like Kuipers?

I don't see how allegedly putting in a transfer request is even slightly on a par with the way Kuipers reacted last year.

And equally, did Kuipers hand in a transfer request after ONE game as Henderson's backup?

Putting in a transfer request is a legitimate part of football that players have always done. If he feels he could potentially be playing regularly at a higher level, let alone starting for us, has an international career depending on it, and feels that he is no longer the number one keeper here, then he has every right to express a wish to move on.

I will quite happily have a go if he refuses to train/be in the squad, but provided he fulfills his duties to the club in the meantime, he's done very little wrong.

I could actually bounce the post where I said I would have respected FDM if he'd handed in a transfer request and then sat loyally on our bench while the details of that were worked out. But that would take a few seconds on NSC search and David isn't worth the effort.

Surely you mean

'Hendo is a coward of the highest order, one who dares to put himself before the interests of Brighon and Hove Albion and after one game will not even stay to fight for his place'.

You have nothing to base that on. In my opinion, we were lucky to hold onto him after relegation as he is a standard above this division. This could have been something on his mind for a long time. I would also say the fans have not been particularly supportive of him this season, culminating in some making that very clear on saturday.

Until we know the reasons, lets reserve judgement.
