I didn't think 'oh dear', but I did think 'Christ, he's resting a few players, isn't he?'
The first thing I noticed was swapping Mac/Caicedo out for Gilmour and Gross. I thought 'this is brave' rather than 'we're going to lose'.

Truth be told, I didn't know how the starting 11 would perform. Another thing I didn't see coming was the way that Wolves performed.

It was almost as if our players know the system, know what is expected of them, and to an extent, it doesn't matter who actually plays, as long as they follow their
instructions.

Would we have won by more if we had fielded a 'stronger' side? I don't know.

Nope, I thought 'that's a good opportunity for fringe players to step up' and laughed at the fact that WWFC would've been preparing for Ali Mac, Caicedo and Mitoma from the start.

Unlike others, I trust the 'depth' of the squad.
