Collecting tickets last night

Was able to get there nice and early to collect my tickets. Nice touch - all the staff were thanking us for coming early. 45 minutes before KO there was a huge queue stretching almost as far as the station. Have to say I was expecting a binfest of complaints about people unable to get their tickets in time (memories of Man City) - but nothing yet. How was your ticket collection experience?

I got there well early and had a short wait. Worked well for me. The general message these days is do everything early from ticket collection to arrival for the match.

As for going home, thats more complicated

That queue with hour-45 mins to go was insane. I too was expecting alot of complaints on here, but staff seemed to deal with it well

I noticed Paul the ticket office manager walking up the queue with a big pile of envelopes dishing out which I guess helped the queue.

When I arrived about 7.00pm having queued for over an hour earlier in the day to buy my granddaughter a ticket my immediate thought was that a lot of those people wouldn't see the start of the match. Did they all get in before kick off.
