Er ... felling trees is all about ... trees.

It is a big problem in those words; the council isn't making this up, there are some very sad looking ash trees there. You can tell by looking at their keys, they're not in a good state.

However, supporters going to the game will be relieved to know that the road is only closed from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM

You didn’t read my post, yes i’m fully aware the first closure is about Trees ffs, i’m advising that knowing this work they then plan a second week week of disruption in the same road

No,they're doing it all at the same time.

"To minimise future disruption to residents, we have coordinated multiple maintenance teams across the council to complete several essential works simultaneously. This joined-up approach means we can address multiple maintenance needs in a single closure period, rather than requiring separate road closures for each task."

Coldean Lane will have re surficing works with lane closures and TTL’s for one week, the week after the same road is closed for tree felling

Top closed, so access via the bottom. Then bottom closed, access via the top....or vice versa....whatever, it'll probably overrun into next year anyway

I'll repeat. "To minimise future disruption to residents, we have coordinated multiple maintenance teams across the council to complete several essential works simultaneously. This joined-up approach means we can address multiple maintenance needs in a single closure period, rather than requiring separate road closures for each task."

There are no plans to close the road in the following week
