One thing is for sure- they both seemed to link up well during the beginning of the second half today. It's just a shame that Ulloa had to be brought off, before he was sent off!

They were excellent in the early part of the 2nd half today. Unfortunately the ref seemed to find something wrong with anything Ulloa did, even booking him for forcing the defender into conceding a throw-in. After another tackle the ref spoke to Ulloa (using Calderon as an interpreter) and it was clearly a final warning so Gus, very wisely IMHO, chose to substitute him.

So for me that's a 'Yes' to the OP's question.
