Can anyone get hold of the other clubs messages - I would be interested to see what Man Utd & Arsenal wrote. Didn't Ferguson send a personal message to Albion fans back in 97?

Special mention to Rochdale. Simply, "Mr Prescott. Support the beautiful game". Great stuff

Barry Fry's leaves a lump in the throat. If he wasn't so shit, he could be our manager one day.

Football Says It With Flowers
By Tim Dudding

Albion fans will tomorrow deliver 91 bouquets of flowers – one representing every club in the Football League – to Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, all of which will carry messages of support for the new stadium at Falmer.

Each of the bouquets will carry a unique message of support, and here are just a few of the sentiments so far:

Rushden & Diamonds

All at Rushden & Diamonds FC wish to place on record our support for the relocation of Brighton & Hove Albion FC. Brighton & Hove Albion is a name synonymous with the game of football in England and long may it remain.

David Joyce, Secretary

Peterborough United

I would like to put it on record that I am 100% behind Dick Knight and everyone at Brighton Football Club to win their planning case for a new stadium. They have got magnificent support and a fantastic club.

They are trying to manage with their hands tied behind their back. I am sure once they have got their new stadium up and running, they will be a force to be reckoned with and climb up through the leagues. Good luck to everyone at Brighton.

Barry Fry, Manager

Notts County

Mr Prescott, Brighton & Hove Albion community and Football Club need your support now more than ever. You cannot let this great club go under!

Bradford City

Mr Prescott, why stop progress and improved facilities for everyone. We hope it goes well for you.

From everyone at Bradford City

Cheltenham Town

Say yes Mr Prescott! I must emphasise the importance of the club to the local community plus is long standing traditions and great support.

Kind regards and best of luck

Paul Godfrey, Secretary

Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe Wanderers Football Club fully support Brighton and Hove Albion in their campaign to gain planning permission to build a new stadium at Falmer.

It is part of the heritage of all football supporters in this country, that all big towns and cities have a Premiership or Football League Club, with all 92 clubs needing all our encouragement and support to remain in business.

This is important not only for the club itself but also for the community it serves, the rest of the clubs and anyone who follows our national game, throughout the world.

I urge you to give this application your support and allow the club to bulid the stadium it so desperately needs.

Keith Allen, Secretary

Bolton Wanderers

In the interests of the National Game it is hoped that Brighton & Hove Albion are successful in their application for a new community stadium at Falmer.

Simon Marland

Birmingham City

Birmingham City fully support Brighton & Hove Albion in its bid for a new stadium.

Brighton & Hove Albion are very important not only to the county of Sussex but also to all football loving people throughout the country and form an important part of our national game of football.

We back their bid wholeheartedly for a new stadium in order to secure their future.

Macclesfield Town

Macclesfield Town believes that it is the hub of our community and likewise we are sure that Brighton & Hove Albion plays a similar role in Sussex, to have a base that you can "call home" is very important and we support Brighton in their endeavours to find a permanent home.

Good Luck

Colin Garlick, Chief Executive

Rochdale

Mr Prescott. Support the beautiful game!

Sheffield United

Nurture them and let them grow.

Preston North End

Preston North End offer their support for the continuation of League Football in Sussex.

Really encouraging stuff, that. Nice to know that even Orient have lent their support.

What also is good to see is the list of people that have written letters of support. Only slightly ruined by the inclusion of that f***ing horse-face dopey twat, Nicky Keig-Shevlin. I'm sure Prescott will know who SHE is.

was it the fact that you lived with your parents at 26

Now is not the time to be slagging off our supporters, equine-featured or not.

She's a friggin' SPURS fan. She doesn't support Brighton, nobody at Southern FM does (with the possible exception of Richard Lindfield). They are the worst example of bandwagon-jumpers. She works for BHA and occasionally lends her support to the club if a) They're doing well, or b) It'll make her look good.

Sorry, can't stand the woman or Southern FM in general. Grrr.
