I encountered this brand whilst in London today. Has anyone on here had the pleasure of entering the rather curiously named CHICKEN COTTAGE? ???

If so, how was it for you?

Any verdict on the veg(gi)e burger?

Not too sure about that, it would appear they have an issue with spelling, but I am pleased to report that the 'Two pieces of chicken' accompanied by McCain (R) Fries washed down with a regular diet Pepsi slipped down a treat! :) :drink:

Seems to a business based in Croydon judging from the address on the leaflet. So best avoided unless you want to turn into one of the South London scummers.

Croydon. I'll vomit it back out.

A piss poor attempt at imitating the MIGHTY KFC. They don't have the Colonals blend of herbs and spices, therefore it's going to taste like SHIT.
Incidently, is the one in the picture on southwark street, underneath the bridge?

Is Halal where they slit the throats of the animals rather than butcher them by more humane means, something to do with Jewish and Muslim beliefs?

''For the meat of a land animal to be halâl it must be properly slaughtered by a Muslim or a Person of the Book (Christian or Jew), while mentioning the name of God (Allah in Arabic); for instance, the animal may not be killed by being boiled or electrocuted, and the carcass should be hung upside down long enough to be blood-free.''
