Chesterfield dealt DeBolla blow
Chesterfield will be without striker Mark DeBolla for the daunting clash with Brighton at The Withdean Stadium.
DeBolla, who signed a month's loan deal from Charlton last week, has returned to The Valley after sustaining an ankle injury on his Spireites debut against Notts County on Saturday.
Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland said: "We are very disappointed for Mark DeBolla and sincerely hope he fully recovers as soon as possible.
"It really looked as though Mark would give us the spark we needed up front, but it is possible we may never know now.
"Unfortunately these things happen in football but we have just got to get on with things. It is unlikely that we will be able to get somebody else in before the game at Brighton."
Meanwhile, Glynn Hurst (back) remains on the sidelines, as does fellow striker David Reeves, who has not recovered from a calf injury in time for the game.
