Hopeless yesterday but still plenty in profit from Tuesday, it doesn't get any easier that's for sure.

Turners - nothing for me here. Fav is very short, can't see much value against against it.

Pertemps - Good Time Jonny 16/1 was suggested to me a few weeks ago from a reliable source. The form isn't great but the stable are rather adept at lining one up for a big race win. His last two runs have suggested that he can see some improvement for the application of cash. Have also played Captain Morgs 14/1 who has good course form.

Ryanair - which Shishkin turns up Today? Unbackable at odds on for me. I'm having an each way swing at Envoi Allen 12/1 who has two festival wins under his belt and has a touch of class on his day.

Stayers - I backed Blazing Khal at 10/1 a few months ago and have no reason to desert him. Charles Byrnes brought him back from a long break to hack up last time. He's already had two wins at Cheltenham over hurdles as a novice.

Magners Plate - another pin job handicap. Mine has landed on Fugitif 11/1 and last years winner Coole Cody at 28/1. Fugitif has improved this season with a win at Chepstow and two seconds at Cheltenham. Coole Cody hasn't been in great form but he comes alive in the spring and whilst he's no spring chicken, he could have one more decent run in him.

Mares Novice - Luccia looks too short and I've backed Lots Of Joy EW at 7/1 with a 365 boost. LOJ could be anything and hacked up last time and is the number one runner for Willie Mullins.

Kim Muir - here come the amateurs again and my pin has landed on Mr Incredible at 6/1 for Willie and Patrick Mullins off top weight. He will be staying on as others cry enough.

Media saying Bloom had £400k bet on. As a matter of interest who do you put that size bet on with.

I’ve read £400k and £600k who knows? But my maths make it that if it was £400k then over 2 x Clarence House Chases and 2 x Champion Chases he’s even. If it was £600k this time he’s £250k up ?

Not forgetting yesterdays race had prize money of £225k for the winner.

1.30 I will take Stage Star e/w against the favourite
2.10 Walking on Air e/w as ground against Ziggy
2.50 Shishkin
3.30 no bet
4.10 Il Ridoto e/w
4.50 no bet
5.30 …my only Irish horse of the day Dunboyne again e/w

Ground giving me a few worries so have gone e/w mostly … on better ground I would be all in on Il Ridoto but worried it could get heavy

Thank you for the Good Time Johnny tip. I doubled GTJ up with Envoi Allen to land a 109/1 double today, my biggest win ever on the geegees. Not quite TB territory, but enough for next year’s ST!!

I had Good Time Johnny, Envoi Allen and Fugitiv on triple…. So close to winning some very decent cash!
