900 home fans can't go to their game tomorrow as their 'rail seating/safe standing' isn't finished.

Imagine the stick that Barber would get if 900 STHs weren't allowed to go to the first game back with 'full' capacity and they were told 24 hours before the game !

I've just dipped into the murky waters of "the shed end" Chelsea forum.
Most of them aren't bothered, presumably because their armchair view won't be affected.
A couple of voices of dissent but they're the champions of Europe and got bought a £97.5 Million striker to add to their £Billion squad.

Could be worse:

Birmingham City season ticket holders will find out on Thursday if they have been randomly selected to attend one of the next two home games at St Andrew's.

Only around half of the club's season ticket holders will be present to watch each of those Championship matches, due to over-running emergency building work at the stadium.

The Kop and Tilton stands remain closed, whilst structural repairs continue to try to make them safe for supporters to return. Both were condemned during a routine council safety inspection in December.

Birmingham's fans are furious that, despite having eight months to work on the stadium, structural repairs have still not been completed.

I wonder when they knew it wouldn't be ready. Chelsea have 28000 ST holders so there should have been plenty of spares to move people to other parts of the ground, if they agreed.
