:amex:Let's cheer the absent Glenn Murray tomorrow and let him know how much we appreciate what he's done for us this season. Make him want to stay. My Player of the Season!
Same to all you fantastic Away fans too for the final match.:amex:

Well said! My POS too. If you take him out of the side we simply don't look as good.

If he wants to go, let him go. I just hope he wants to stay.

He is a circa £1m striker, and his contract is up. He can therefore realistically expect a HUGE signing-on fee if he goes elsewhere, and given he is 27 and running out of playing time, who can blame him for trying to maximise his earnings. I guess the big issue in his contract talks is whether we are willing to give him something mega up-front (who knows - £500k??) for staying at the Albion. Perhaps we would rather spend the £500k on Will Hoskins? Personally I would love him to stay, and would hope he gets a massive cheer anyway, when he's announced as Player of the Season!!

Doesn't mean we can't try and influence his decision by cheering his name relentlessly!

If gus spends Money on strikers in the summer as he and Tony have hinted Glenn will no longer be our number 1 choice up front he could well be 3rd, if this is the case it is irrelevant whether he stays or goes.I think he is clever enough to realise that if he does not go now he will never have the same opportunity again.I say we thank him for what he has done for the club and let him move on to make some real money

where exactly...?? and how much ...exactly.....??? i'm sorry but i don't get this . with an even better target man next to him next season , i can see him doing well in the championship........all this more money bollox is just that...there are a handful of teams who can/will offer him more money than us...........i can just see him pissing off back up north ie . leeds or derby, maybe forrest otherwise i reckon he's going nowhere obviously mho.

Good luck with that. He won't be making his decison based on the love.

Jeeez there's a lot of cynical talk on this site. Sure Murray is always gonna do the best for himself, and secure his future as a (not getting any younger) footballer has to. But let's still show him some love for the huge part he has played this season - everyone must see that his contribution was pivotal in our success - if he stays, or goes on to better wages, he still deserves our love.
