Two good teams going at it in the JPT tonight, Sky Sports 2.

John Sullivan in goal for Charlton.

Brentford are worth the lead, Charlton are BAD.

So, the commentators can understand that the linesman thinks a brentford player played the ball to an offside team mate.
They can understand the ref saw the ball as being played by a charlton player, thus making it onside.

Why are they struggling to combine these two pieces of information to explain why the offside flag for the third goal was dismissed and the goal awarded?

I really think the FA should scrap this competition.

So many favourites beaten, attendances were very poor (only Huddersfield got a decent crowd with over 10,000), a serious injury (which could have happened in any game to be fair) and a hell of a lot of matches to win it - I've already forgotten who won the JPT last season.

Waste of time and money.
