I was listening to Radio 5 Live today (Sunday lunchtime about 12.15pm.)

Subject of the programme was Tax Avoidance and Gordon Brown's intentions to stop it.

I used to work in Jersey for a Bank specialising in Tax Avoidance for Expatriates so the programme was quite interesting for me.

Charlie Whelan, who used to be Blair's Spin Doctor, was contributing to the prog with some other talking heads when suddenly he said,

"This is all very interesting but what really interests me is whether Prescott is going to give Brighton & Hove Albion their new stadium !!!"

This produced a few titters but what a nice sound bite !!!!!

So the issue of Falmer is really reaching into the soul of the nation is it not ?
