Oh dear, Ive never been charlies biggest fan on the pitch but have always admired his spirit and know that hed spill blood for us on the field of play.

Would hate to see him badly injured as he is a competent 2nd div player.

Charlie has been a great servant to the Seagulls during the two championship campaigns and when times were tough, he was often the one to get going.

Get well soon Charlie. :)

When charlie arrived at BHA he was a breath of fresh air - it was a long time since we saw a player with such fight.

As far as Charlie's concerned we're a bunch of internet geeks hiding behind our computers and not proper fans of the club re the Butters hoo-hah.

Let's show him what we're really like and send a massive get well card or something.

Hope he gets through it - every team should have a Charlie Oatway. Can't fault the fella - he even turned up a day early for training this season and had been doing lots of running rhough the summer, and to be honest he looks pretty sharp this season. Top pro!
