I thought Reading had spent loads more than that.
Forest don't look too clever, I think they might be selling some of that squad in this window.

Our entire squad cost less than I imagine spurs weekly wage bill to be.

But who have we paid for?

I hope you've factored in the cost of the kit to Stansted that was part of the OGH transfer.

You've got to laugh, haven't you?

I'm surprised our squad cost that much, to be honest.

Hart- £1,000 + tracksuits
Knight- I guess we must have paid something when we went up, but can't have been much.

One to throw at "poor, financially stricken" clubs like Leeds I think.

Given that neither Hart or Leon played at West Ham, it makes it even funnier, that our team (cost= nothing) beat their £17,350,000 squad. Chew on that, Pardew

How the hell did ROTHERHAM's squad cost £580,000??

They were mugged.

And GILLINGHAM paid £750k for theirs??

Though I suppose, being from that part of the world, they paid cash in hand, no questions asked...

As much as I would like to take credit for this, its a cut and paste job!

You could always credit the original author if you like.....

Or the value-for-money table (£ per point):

Brighton & Hove Albion 3,970
Plymouth Argyle 4,697
Derby County 6,667
Crewe Alexandria 7,051
Stoke City 11,710
Sheffield Utd 20,833
Gillingham 29,038
Rotherham 30,526
QPR 31,081
Ipswich Town 34,227
Millwall 34,761
Coventry City 37,500
Reading 57,813
Burnley 59,102
Preston North End 75,714
Watford 100,151
Wigan Athletic 107,600
Nottingham Forest 215,625
Cardiff City 217,500
Leicester City 284,857
Leeds Utd 287,500
Sunderland 327,600
West Ham Utd 385,556
Wolves 510,938

It strikes me that the interesting thing here is not just ourselves compared to the likes of Cardiff, Forest & Wolves, but also Ipswich, Sheffield Utd & Reading compared to Wigan, Sunderland & West Ham.

Out of interest, where did you get it from? I compiled this list in reply to one of Yorkie's NSC posts a couple of weeks ago, and posted it on here and then cardiffcity.com.

Biggest revelation is that Watfords squad cost over 3 MILLION QUID! How the hell did they spend so much on the shower of shite we faced yesterday?
