Sussex but not by the sea
It’s vital that Propper is back Saturday.
Gutted Trossard is injured as he is exactly the type of player Spurs would not want to face.
I’m with the poster earlier, I’d start Connelly.

£50 on Spuds will make you £40.

All their spending on internationals has given them a far better team than the Albion, in every position, it’s that simple.

I'm certainly not arguing on the quality of the 2 squads and our injuries.
The thought of Son & Kane is a frightening one but they are not as good as last season, let's wait and see.

One plus from this evening is that the media fallout will ensure the Albion are likely to get a good billing on Saturday's MOTD.

The downside is that 90% of the pundit analysis will be about Spurs and their 'response'.

They were always going to brush us aside. Far better players bought in, we can’t score, our injuries, and they’ll absolutely love the huge spaces we leave behind and a slow RB.

Yeah, I still don't hold out much hope for those reasons and what with our injuries.

you never know, but I do fear a bit of a backlash and we'd have to play a hell of a lot better than we did against Chelsea

I maintain that this a perfect time to be playing Spurs and Potter has the best opportunity to get a win against Spurs if he gets his selection and tactics right.

Daniel Levy is excellent in terms of getting his price for a player, but this hard bargaining always comes at a cost. You spend when you are in a position of strengthen but he hasn't done that - maybe because of the financing of the stadium curbed any urge to splash out - and he's got a team of ageing players winding down their contracts and a bunch of kids with huge pressure on their shoulders to continue to deliver Champions League and reach semi finals of cups.

I agree. But sadly I had that feeling before the Chelsea game as well.

Pocchetino to Real Madrid.
Zidane to Spurs.

You heard it here first.

A glory move for The Poch, and a money move for Zizou.

Marvellous scenes.

Hmmm....my hope is that the rumours that the squad are oll over the place, a bit like the Nottingham Forest boys ten years ago (constantly on the piss, shagging each others' missus, having fist fights, etc) is true. An early Albion goal could have them in a hissy-fitting meltdown. Pretty please. :lolol:
