How crazy is it for UEFA to carry on with the venue for the Champions League Final in Istanbul, Turkey?

Turkey is currently in lockdown, there's a good chance it'll be two English teams so why drag the fans all the way from Manchester, Madrid or London, to Turkey during a global pandemic, FFS!

No more crazy than staging a pan-European Euros a couple of weeks later across a dozen countries/venues for a whole month.

UEFA will never let logic get in the way.

Football never ceases to amaze me. Global Pandemic? Off you go to Istanbul and when you've come back, off to Rome, Berlin and London for the Euros. Racism? Give Twitter admin the day off and do that knee thing but don't whatever you do mention those slaves in Qatar. Qatar you say, Isn't all that a bit corrupt? Well, yeah but we've got DIFFERENT corrupt people in charge now so it's all fine. Yeah, but isn't it a bit, like, warm in the summer? Don't worry - Lets do it all at Christmas instead!

This football financial bubble will burst. It will eat itself before long.

... and the 37 deaths DIRECTLY related to building the World Cup Stadiums in Qatar!

To be fair, if Chelsea get through Uefa may well change the venue. They've done similar with regard to the Euros with some host countries no longer having games.

37, not even close.
Try 6500 lives lost so a corrupt country can put on a show for the world to see.

Looked into this and you're right that's the amount of migrants that have lost their lives in the country but of that FIFA are saying only 37 attributed directly to the stadiums, I think they're ignoring those that have lost lives building hotels, roads, airports, and other infrastructure, you're right, it's horrific!
