I have just listened to the chairman on Seagulls .co.uk,and I thought he sounded very upbeat and when I hear him I have to think how lucky we are to have a real fan 'up front' and leading the charge..
I still think there is an element of political stalling by Prescott who after all has all the info re;- alternative sites..
I sincerely hope the Chairman is right and this new enquiry avoids legal blockages after the YES vote from JP.
In the interview Dick Knight says we deserve and indeed need a stadium bigger than 6500 seats!!
Does this mean there is no hope of the extra 2000 seats we HAVE permission for?
Surely the club is now more than ever in need of the extra seats.
I just wish HE (the CHAIRMAN) would come onthe web site and say WHAT IS CLUB POLICY on this matter,I just don't believe that extra parking is the only problem,if it were then surely the club has the nouse to sort out Park 'n'ride:bounce:

The policy of the club is quite clear - they would LOVE to have an extra 2000 seats. And its not a lack of "nouse" on the clubs part in being unable to sort out an additional park & ride. It is, unfortunately, another planning issue for the use of Carden Avenue which has run into problems because of objections.

It is this factor, and this factor alone, which is holding up the extra seats. We CANNOT have those additional seats without another park & ride scheme in place to cater for the extra numbers.

And it's very hard to concentrate on a successful planning aplication for Falmer and applying for park and ride seats at the same time, not to mention costly.

I know which one I'd rather we got sorted.
