Simple poll.

Which of these partnerships would you have at the back.

I'm tied between Virgo/Elphick and Virgo/Hinshewood

I am counting El-Abd as a midfielder as that is where Micky seems to think he plays best.

Elphick/Virgo
means that whing can play in his proper position and so can virgo, who does not look like a right back at all. Hinsh seems too inconsistent for me.

In the current climate Hinsh as he seems to improve game by game at present.

Virgo-Elphick would seem the obvious chioce.

but given the form this year, Virgo-Hawkins with Hinsh or Elphick playing at LB would probably be seen before long.

Hinsh has got to be in there - with the exception of last night he has improved the defence massively since his return. Plus, we all know that potentially he is the best defender at the club (if he could find his previous form).

I don't really know to be honest.

Hawkins was SHIT, but offers something different to the rest.

Hinsh looks promising given what he's been through, but keeps costing us goals.

Elphick is erratic, not the Mr consistent of last season. One week he's good, the next he's dreadful.

Lynch is playing Championship football.

Virgo has played one game at centre back and looked good (against Man City), but he's been poo everywhere else so i'm sure it wouldn't take him long to hit that form.

Don't get me wrong, Elphick is one of my favourite players but I would like Micky to try Hinshelwood and Virgo together.

Elphick never combines well with Whing, leaving the right side of defence exposed.

I have gone for Virgo and Hawkins at the moment because I believe that Elphick needs a kick up the a..e and Hinsh is showing signs of being battle weary and being dropped so that they are not automatic choice will be a jolt to both of them. I do not think that Hinsh is good enough in the air for a central defender. Where was he and Elphick for their first goal last night as many have slagged Virgo over the battering he took from Boyd but everyone seems to have forgotten Posh 1st goal.

I'd like to change my mind on this one. All i want to see is for one game, Virgo benched. I want Micky to prove he has no favourites and no-one is undroppable. For that reason I'd stick with Elphick and Hinshelwood and have Whing replacing Virgo.
