Guiness extra cold is a marketing gimmick. It kills the flavour.

I prefer it, I pay for it, I drink it but thanks anyway

Bud is gnats water as are most Aussie beers, but like Barnet, when I get to Auss and its 100 degrees it'll probably tastes pretty fuckin good, without passing out and dieing of instant dehydration! so it serves a purpose

I suppose it could act as a training stout. If you're too inexperienced for the real thing:drink:

I must admit to having recently acquired a taste for a host of pale bottled lagers like Miller Genuine Draft, Sol and particularly Corona Extra. I know many people think they are a bit watery but personally i find then really crisp and clean with no after taste.

Of course that doesn't excuse me from being a posey poof who can manage about 3 pints before i'm bloated:(

Amstel for me if I can get it! Trouble is I can never get it anywhere.

Why don't more pubs stock it? ??? They sponsor the Champions League after all ffs!

Carling is gthe biggest selling lager in the uk simply because of the tie between leaseholders and their landlords. i.e Punch Taverns own most pubs so therefore sell most beer.

Am I the only one who thinks that 99% of lagers taste exactly the same?

A pint of Carlsberg is nice now and then but generally I prefer the smooth ales like Caffreys, Worthingtons or Kilkennys.
