I have to agree with Safeway on this one. Reading never paying more than £800,000 for a player is not really that serprising for a club that has never featured in the top flight of English football - and has indeed spent most of its existence in the bottom two divisions of the football league.

They are a club currently being funded by one individual who built them a stadium and is prepared to underwrite to running loss they make each season, but the trade-off for that is he will not splash out loads of money on players, particularly not when he can poach players and managers from a south coast cloub with a tiny ground and no money, yet who will start next season in the same division as Reading.

I can only assume Madjeski loves the club and will never pull out because without his baqcking they could be in real trouble.
