a) best places to go for around £500 all inclusive?

b) places to go to/avoid?

c) the times of the year to avoid?

Need a suntan pretty sharpish and a break away from work... if not the Caribbean then where else!?!

a) Antigua is bloody brilliant ( Cocos ) although you'll have to go out of normal holiday season to get anywhere near £500.

Dom. Republic is very good value and has loads of stuff to do. White water rafting where they filmed part of Jurassic Park is great.

b) Don't go to Jamacia - dangerous, dirty and over priced.

c) Rainy season is Oct onwards generally but the weather is usually warm enough for you not to care.

But don't forget Aug & Sept are also hurricane season

I'm off to the bahamas in March.. That's only costing me £650 all inc. for me and the missus.

Does help that she works in travel though..

Came back from Antigua 10 days ago. Beautiful, not too expensive and very very hot.

Now back in Grey cold Brighton

Barbados is the best island of the lot - but not the cheapest.. Even out of season you will be lucky to find anywhere semi decent for less than £500 all inclusive...
