Albion caretaker Nathan Jones has urged the players to give the club a lift with a knockout Boxing Day performance against Reading at the Amex.
The Welshman, in charge of the side following Sami Hyypia's resignation on Monday, is not expected to make many changes to the Finn's final selection for last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Wolves.
Bruno begins a three-match ban for his red card at Molineux but Jones is more concerned about getting another performance out of the players available to him after the improved display at Wolves.
He said: "I want to put out a team that's a Brighton team and worthy of getting a result and that's going to lift the place, get the fans behind them.
"I want them to see that we're a group of players that want to play for the shirt and that's what we’re looking for, whether it's tactical changes, personnel changes."
Albion are four points adrift of safety in the relegation zone.
Jones, unsure whether he will still be in charge for Monday night's visit to Fulham, said: "I'm not going to put too much emphasis on the gap.
"What we're looking for is a positive reaction. A positive reaction taking us into the game and lifting the club is the first aim."
