Jeff Whitley would undoubtedly do a decent job for any League One side, but he's been bombed out here because of off-field reasons - the same reasons he was bombed out of the Northern Ireland set-up.
Kevin Cooper is a decent, if unspectacular player who should find another club easily enough. He'd be a worthy addition to any League One squad.
Of the youngsters being released, Curtis McDonald and Jamal Easter are easily the pick.

McDonald's an attacking midfielder who often plays out wide, but he's also played up front. It's a surprise to those of us who watch the reserves here that he's been released. Decent player.
