Top secret agent Captain Scarlett was today accused of overstating the threat of the Mysterons.

Scarlett, one of the senior officials in the intellingence agency Spectrum, was responsible for a document claiming that the so called Mysterons had established a base on Venus from which they could attack earth "within 45 minutes".

Scarlett further claimed that the Mysterons had developed Weapons of Mass Destruction from their home planet and were plannig to destroy the whole world.

Scarlett explained to the Inquiry that he had relied on a single Mysteron source who had told him "This is the voice of the Mysterons" - as a result of which he had decided to invade the universe and wipe out all life on other planets:ohmy:

Rumour has it that that the Mysterons regeneration device (the thing that re-built destroyed objects and re-animated dead people as Mysteron beings) was in fact nothing more than two circles of light beamed by a torch. Alistair Campbell has denied this. Gerry Anderson is up before Inquiry next.

Anyway why all the fuss about Iraq. Internationa Rescue would always save us wouldn't they?

Yes El Pres. I read Private Eye as well.

It's very funny though.
