Former Brentford defender Paul Gibbs is training with his old club after being released by Barnsley.

Gibbs, who is looking for a new club, has been linked with Watford, but will work on his fitness in Brentford's reserves.

The 31-year-old, who made four appearances for Barnsley this season before his release last month, played in a 2-2 draw for the Bees second string at Aldershot.
