Can anyone identify this socket

It's the size of an arial socket but with two flats.
May be for surround sounds

Its a Neutrik Speakon socket, its used primaraly for speaker connection but can also be used to carry power although I don think that would be the case in a house. Easy to get hold of the plugs,

Not often used for domestic stuff. More likely to be found on pro and disco type gear.

It's in my static, there's two sockets on the wall with speakers throughout the caravan.
Would I be able to run a cable from the speakon socket to the audio socket on the tv ?
