Biggest steal since Chelsea sold Lamptey?

If that's the price, then yes, if we weren't stacked up front already I'd want some of that action (wages are prob massive though)

Still only 22 - plenty of opportunity to turn things around again.

I remember how good he looked against us at Stamford Bridge a few years back - he was exceptional.

Yep that's my take as well. Certainly worth a punt at that price.

Surprised he didn’t go to the Championship. Been in decline for years.
Deffo.
Fulham trying very hard to get relegated, sure not quite palace levels of failure but they're certainly dancing in the streets of Luton with this news.

Exactly.

I can't help but think that the culture is so bad at the top at Chelsea, that no matter how talented players are, they are on a hiding to nothing. Far more experienced players than him have failed abysmally. What's important is that what happens every minute of everyday in training is constant and part of a plan. You can buy whatever players you want but if there isn't a clear vision at the top, you don't stand a chance.

Any 21 year old world class prospect should probably take note

Didn't Fulham have Denis Odoi until last year? As one Odoi closes another Odoi opens...

My verdict on CH-O IS 'Meh'. I expect him to have as much impact on the Prem as Loftus-Cheek did for Palace.

It wasn't that long ago they rejected 70 million

Not strictly true. They rejected a loan with an option to sign for that fee. Chelsea may have been well aware Bayern would never stump up the end figure so it would just be a loan with no money at the end of it

They did however rejected direct offers of around 30m

Thing is you buy him at that much and he's worth 5 times that once he has a semi decent game in the Prem.
Big wages presumably.
Forest have made some really good and sensible signings.

Forest just trying to buy everyone today!

Closing in on Origi too.

A clusterfudge approach if you ask me. Seems very random.

Same as last summer when they got promoted, what was it, 20 odd signings? mad. Still, they managed to stay up.
