assuming we have spent over £2m on the PE and everything is watertight, agreements with the council, universities etc, why is it that at the 23rd hour of the enquiry no one has spotted that there is a public footpath where we want to build some part of the stadium.

I am sorry but this smacks of serious amatuerism on our part.

If this is all held up because of this, I think someone should seriously hold their hands up and confess that they are incompetant and not fit to take the stadium plans forward.

This is truly pathetic.

PS We were shite yesterday

I agree. The footpath only has to be diverted. This happened near where I previously lived. No hassle at all.

The Argus is muckraking and trying to get sensational headlines out of nothing

And this shit happens far too regularly with the ArseGas..the paper that claims to support The Albion and the stadium bid. I have no problem with them putting forward reasonable arguments solidly backed by facts but all they do is make headlines from the rantings of one or two NIMBYs. It's nearly always the same NIMBYs and it is always a load of bolleaux that's been dragged up, tarted up and re-worked dozens of times.

You can stick the frigging Arsegas up your butt:eek:

Sam the footpath isn't near the stadium, it's where the access road has to be widened.
