sounds good but if they were to offer what they paid for the last player they took of us would we turn it down.....................?

sorry. Being a bit of a devil's advocate. Fingers crossed no-one leaves in this window unless maybe it's Holroyd and Poke

Hmmm, he had his head turned before, and the grass didn't turn out to be greener in Southampton. In fact it turned out that there was no grass for him there at all. Hopefully he's a bit wiser this time.

Going nowhere. The asking price that comes with being under contract for another 2.5 years will see to that.

I'm sure we'd let him speak to them if they offered £1.5m, but that is not going to happen! I'd be more worried if a top-half Championship club came in for him. He could certainly play at that level.

Very good piece Calderon told the fans at the end not to worry about rumours and just end it, Simple.
So saying that he is very happy at brighton and the offer of Celtic alone doesnt make him want to leave, he will not enjoy the league in scotland will get bored as most games bar vs Rangers is like a league 2 quality.
So in a way taking a step backwards as we a club progressing but if they come in with stupid offer id say 1.5 to 2.5 million maybe we will consider.
I hope we dont as we dont need the money anymore as need to start progressing and getting better squad.
Im confident he will stay and shows in this interview he wants that as well.

Agree with that but it cannot be denied that Celtic are a much bigger club than us, regardless of the quality of opposition bar Rangers. For a player like Calderon, who is no spring chicken, the oppurtunity to play for a big club in front of so many fans might be too good to turn down. Unfortunately I don't have much faith in Calderon showing any loyalty, since he let us down quite badly over the summer (people very quick to forget!). Couldn't blame him if he did want to move on though - at least this time we will be getting money for him

Anyway I'm jumping the gun a bit here as the rumours might well come to nothing!

"My future is Saturday against Peterborough........"

Bit of a short term outlook from Inigo on the BBC website! Going to Celtic would be a terrible move, as opposed to championship and Falmer!

Guys and girls, please don't think that Calderon, or anyone else for that matter, won't leave for a bigger club - as always, it comes down to money, if they get offered a lot more, they'll be off, everyone has their price, as do the club.

Why did Calderon put on your shirt? Surely he has his own.

Most Spanish lotharios never wear their own shirts, but those of the men whose wives they have just bedded, thrust on for departure immediately after the act. If i noticed one of my shirts missing, and one day saw Calde wearing one twice the size of one that would snugly fit him, and it looking completely dirtcheap, i'd be forced to bow to his subterfuge and thank my wife, who doesn't yet exist, for cheating on me only, i hope, with a legend.

Not sure what sort of money caldy is on but he could triple it at celtic, whats caldy on 5k a week?

He's at that age where he needs to make as much money as possible, but saying that most of our stars will get very good wage rises next season im sure of that.

If he goes good luck to him and the same goes for murray

Is that a joke? As much as we are all very excited about Falmer, that doesn't make it better than places like Parkhead (or, for the sake of political correctness, Ibrox)!

£5k a week, I would have thought more like £3k?
