Someone made this point and it’s a very good and interesting one…

By the time we play Arsenal next Sunday, Villa and Spurs will have just 2 games left to play each… We will have a much clearer picture of the points needed for 6th / 7th in just over a weeks’ time. We will still have 5 games to play at that point too and although they’re very tough, it will be pretty clear what we need.

Last night was HUGE. Win Monday (no easy games at all) and that will also be HUGE.

Villa play Spurs in a weeks’ time…

All very exciting…

The fixture list scares me, squad rotation will be interesting given how little time there is between games. The gap between Everton and Arsenal is OK, after that

It’s ok after Monday as it’s 6 days to Arsenal. The tough bit comes after Arsenal. Really want Southampton down and a nice easy winning like Wolves but these things never seem to happen. Same with Newcastle already having secured CL and City the title - would be lovely if 2 of those 3 were settled by the time we play them…

Put the ressies out v Citeh.
It could be a case of doing that. If a win v Southampton secures Europe we may well do that and go again for Villa…

City could be champions and trying to avoid injury ahead of a Champions League final.

If we can beat Arsenal it will make this scenario more likely.
Or draw even…
