i thought the "deal" between pardew and coppell was that he could stay with us unless they sold a player....which they appear to be doing...

No deal with Butler to Rotherham yet for certain. He's on about £6k a week to play in the reserves, and wants to leave for first-team football, but the agent is demanding more, it appears.

Should be resolved by tomorrow according to Ronnie Moore. Lets hope so.

P.S. We've got plenty of up and coming strikers in the reserves, its just that Henderson is the oldest. Bas Savage, Andre Fashanu are the top of the pile at the moment and Henderson needs to progress at his age if he's going to make it.

If Leon Knight gets injured, then Fashanu is a quality looking player in the same mould. Scored 2 sublime goals in the reserves yesterday for us.

We are third in the table, Henderson has scored one and had two assists so far this season, and yet still people snipe and whine
