does anyone know how the buses are running, im in saltdean and havent seen one yet?

when looked yesterday there was a list of what was running.

They were at half 7 this morning from saltdean and the buses were coming along the coast road from Peacehaven and Newhaven.

Not good! I am staying at my Mums in Holmes Avenue in Hove tonight and NO buses are running around that area. I cant understand why as its a road used by the emergeny services so kept well gritted, but the 5, 5A and 5B are using alternative routes. The other service that goes to Hangleton (from Sussex Uni so perfect for me) the 55 has been cancelled for the day again!

The trains from Falmer to Brighton are also f*cked with roughly 1 in 5 running today.

Took me 1 1/2 hours from West Hoathly this morning and dont fancy the roads when the temperates drops tonight. My car is also stuck in a rather icey car park at the Uni, they have now closed it (the car park not the Uni as its dangerous!!

Where is the 5B going, I have a trip to Hove to night to vidit the mother too. Is it going up Nevill Road??

Buses this morning were all over the place, but got from Withdean to Lewes in about an hour and a half, 35 minutes longer than usual

5/5B Buses on both routes are operating from Hangleton, Hardwick Road, via the 5B route to the city centre, then via London Road to Carden Avenue. Service 5 buses continue to Ladies Mile Hotel via Patchdean and Winfield Avenue and service 5B buses continue along Carden Avenue to Hollingbury Asda. We are unable to serve Poplar Avenue, Burwash Road, Elm Drive, Holmes Avenue, Beaconsfield Villas, Patcham Old London Road or Patcham north of Ladies Mile Hotel.
