Not after he's spent 2 months at Reading.

Yorkie said that he needs Zamora to shine though.

Not sure I follow as to why he needs Zamora to shine. Granted they worked well together, but his job was to create chances for the strikers and at the time that happened to be Bobby. However if he came back I would have thought his crossing would make Iwelumo look more effective. Also in the 2 championship seasons a number of Zamora's goals were created by Watson, who then proceeded to overnight lose all footballing ability he once had.

Is he better than what we've got?

Sure, Brooker is good going forward but would not offer the protection to the inexperienced Harding that Jones provides.

A Brooker / Harding left side in Div 1 would be carnage.

nor does Knight...
Sorry, but that's rubbish - since MM gave him the gee up earlier this season, Leon has been battling away and tackling back like a good 'un! (well, at least sometimes :) )

I've yet to hear a reasonable explanation as to this sad fact. We always knew he's struggle defensively in Div 1 but where has all his dead ball skill gone?

The free kick at Port Vale, XXX no. of times quick free kick with Bobby ghosting in to head home...........marvellous old scenes:clap2:

I agree, Knight has improved, but on an argument about players with a work ethic that McGhee favours, Leon does not fall into that category.

If we got the chance to resign Bozz then I would take it. He would offer us some creativity that has been missing this season. Sure he would not protect Harding as well as Jones may, but going forward he would give us another option. If we go up we need to improve the quality of the squad and he will do that. Also he is the player we have really missed this season.

Micky clearly doesn't think Brooker will do a decent job in Div 1 at, for Leicester, modest wages.

He hasn't been pulling up trees for Reading either.

A luxury player.

I never had MA down for sentiment and doing people favours but his signing of Brooker always bemused me. He's light years of Premiership class and even Div 1 he was luxury and just far too inconsistent. I think MA just sifned him and said enjoy the Prem wages for a year then off you go pal.

To me it looked like a signing for when Leicester returned to the nationwide, so letting him go is odd. Maybe the finances are still a mess up there. Maybe they will get the 10 point deduction this time…

Now Junior Lewis is a different kettle of fish - I'd definitely be interested in seeing him return to the Albion!

Does he fit better into a counter-attacking team?

No, but he DOES need a QUALITY forward to convert all thos marvellous chances.

And as there isn't one of those at Reading, that's why he's looked a little "lazy".
